Learn to eat healthy and live happy as Elaine Wilson from Allium Foodworks presents a live cooking demonstration on how to prepare deliciously impressive, good-for-you Thai meals at home. Savour the fragrant ingredients as they sizzle together and get the scoop on the best places to shop for authentic Thai products here in the city.

Wine pairing suggestions for each appetizer will also be covered getting you ready for your next at-home party.

The Bothy is a cosy, warm and welcoming place for you to enjoy a ‘wee dram’ while savouring each mouthful of a simple, yet carefully created menu to accentuate your drink selection. The perfect place to spend time and enjoy great company, The Bothy will take your palette on a warming gastronomic journey. And yes, they serve Haggis to pair perfectly with your Whisky!

Presentation: Whiskey at its Finest
Enjoy the charm of The Bothy’s general Bon Vivant and Chef, Kevin Ostapek, and the kilt wearing Scot and whisky and wine expert, Andrew Walls, as they share their passion of the wee dram. They’ll also demonstrate the intriguing cooking technique of Sous Vide (cooking under pressure in water at a stabilised temperature). You will receive general tips for pairing whisky with food and sample The Bothy’s Smoked 4 Pepper Beef Loin with some of their warming whiskies.

Chef team Cindy and Brad Lazarenko are going to make your mouth water. The dishes, like salmon with a spicy beat-dill salsa or a goat cheese and almond sauce, sound too good to be true, but follow their lead and you too can add inspiration to your meals. They’ll finish off with a light yet stunning pavlova that is the perfect sweet touch to end a meal.
